This is the group of the twenty first century. A combination of a DJ (Zoo),
a technocrat musician (Joe Hiredman), and a front man versed in rock and rap
(Szasza). Of course, it's a crazy idea to those who like to think about music
based on the last twenty years of rock history. But at the same time, it is an ideal
mix for music fans open to fusion and sensitive to the present changes. The members
of the From called themselves a trance-group, but elements from house, dub,
ambient and rock (!) perfectly blend into their repertoire. Besides songs written
for clubs, radio friendly versions also standout, as well as "drifting" compositions
with a unique atmosphere. Their first single "Light up" came out in 1995. After a
break and some memorable remixes (Tamás F. Sipos, New Dreamers) they had a big hit
with the song "Morning" from the hugely successful album Dee Zone Traxx. A video clip
was also made of it. Their two latest recordings ("I don't need you" and "three")
cropped up on the "Fresh" compilation album which is due out in October. The members
of the band are signed to Private Moon, the co-producer of the songs is the Hungarian
"pop chameleon", Pierrot.
