AGON
Ancient Games Of Nations, the new production of Private Moon Multimedia, 12 board games in a non-linear adventure environment
(B.A.G.= Board Adventure Game)

1899, London, British Museum: The center of the European culture and science. Stumbling upon a long forgotten ancient script a scientist reaches the conclusion that the world must have known much more board games than it does now and sets out on a quest to recover them for mankind. He has to seek out twelve grandmasters at different parts of the world: Egypt, France, Burma, Lapland or even Madagascar. After succeding in winning one round in each game he gets the opportunity to challenge a mystical opponent, the Dark King, who is pesonally responsible for the disappearance of the games.

The player impersonating the researcher reaches the designated places by means of transportatioon that invoke the atmosphere of the end of the 19th century and once there he has to test his mental freshness and combinatoric skill in 12 traditional board games. The games are embedded in an exotic adventure frame and so AGON offers an excellent opportunity to get away from the constant rush of our time. We can submerge in a world that is more balanced, more meditative and thats "heart" beats to a calmer, more restful rhythm. Once there we can play with any other board game. After completing AGON we may test our skills against our netfriends in any of the games on the Internet.
